Lion Point wrote a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for Broward Shipyard located in Dania Beach, Florida. Broward Shipyard performs a variety of retrofits and repairs on motor-yachts including steel and aluminum construction, electrical installations, crew interiors, exterior and interior painting. The SWPPP was prepared in accordance with the State of Florida’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit.  

Lion Point also assisted with the following: 1) implementation of the SWPPP; 2) conducting and documenting routine inspections; 3) performing quarterly analytical and visual monitoring of stormwater discharges; 4) performing annual training on stormwater awareness; and 5) assisting with the retention of the records required by the permit at the facility or an alternate location specified in its Notice of intent (NOI).
