Glades County Phase I ESA
Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for Phase County
Lion Point completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on an approximately 287.3-acre rural/agricultural property located in Moore Haven, Glades County, Florida on behalf of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Phase I was completed in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E2247-16 “Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I ESA for Forestland or Rural Property.” This Standard allows for reliance on aerial imagery/drone photography to inspect large areas of the property that may be physically inaccessible.
Partnering with ROARANGE Business Strategies, LLC we collected more than 1,000 drone images of the site, each with unique latitude, longitude data as well as the height of the drone. This was the most feasible approach because the site was not accessible from public roadways.
Additionally, this improvised approach allowed us to focus on areas of identified potential concerns such as areas of livestock management, or agricultural use rather than spending a significant amount of time traversing large areas of the property on foot that may never have been subjected to human or other use activity.
