Vision Statement

My name is Patrick Ceres and I founded Lion Point Engineering, LLC with a strong desire to create a minority-owned business with a long-lasting impact. I see my role as an engineer as a trusted advisor, not just to my clients, but to the community at-large. Environmental engineering is a continually evolving field with many opportunities to redevelop and revitalize underserved communities. Landscapes are inseparable from structures, ecology is inseparable from building requirements, and improving human relationships is the ultimate goal of any project. Aesthetic movements come and go, but we have found these principles to be timeless.

As a professional environmental engineer, I enjoy sitting across from individuals and sharing my knowledge in order to help them make good business decisions. My role is to understand the client’s vision and aims and works to help them execute.

With over ten years in consulting, I have worked with some of the largest public and private firms in the world and I am excited to share that experience and knowledge with my new clients at Lion Point Engineering, LLC.

Experience

I am a professional engineer (environmental) with a background in site assessment, remediation, environmental management, and environmental compliance. I worked at two very large consulting firms (1,000 + employees), both of which have merged/changed management structure during my tenure, so I have witnessed and worked through several changes and consolidations in my professional career. I have managed/performed more than 500 environmental due diligence projects in more than 20 states.

I have conducted a broad range of compliance audits on industrial operating facilities including, but not limited to, warehouses/distribution centers, natural-gas fired power plants, beverage manufacturers, metal fabricators, paper mills, recycling facilities, landfills, food processors, pharmaceutical manufacturers, data centers, auto maintenance facilities, lead smelters, gold/silver refineries, mining sectors, adhesive and sealant manufacturers, and others.

I earned my BS in Civil Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and my Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
